  • Kirk Ringers and Singers

The Youth Group has been involved in the following:

  • Bible studies topical discussions; all night Lock-Ins
  • Movie Nights
  • Canoe-camping; car washes; retreats
  • Helping with Faith and Action
  • Serving at the Fall Harvest Luncheon

(The Permission Slip necessary for youth participation in some activities can be downloaded from our Policies page.)

At the heart of these events is a spirit of Christian fellowship and awareness of our responsibility as disciples of Christ in a needy world. The youth group is a strong nurturing environment for making friends, dealing with struggles in growing up, developing communication and leadership skills, sharing adventures, problem-solving, and learning from caring adults who are committed to the well-being of our youth.

Together with our Kirk Ringers and Singers, St. Andrew Ringers and Singers, our Youth in Faith Formation (YFF), the youth group has nurtured our youth to meaningful participation in the larger life of our church in such areas as ushering teams, video technicians, lectors in worship, youth deacons, and volunteers for special projects. We can be thankful and proud of the youth God has given us.
