Rev. Clark R. Kerr

Reverend Kerr is a 1999 graduate of the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree. While attending seminary he served as the Student Body President and was the class representative to the Board of Directors for three years.

 

Reverend Kerr spent twelve years as a trial and appellate attorney before coming to the ministry. His education includes a Bachelors Degree (cum laude) in Political Science and Religion from Duke University, a Masters Degree in Student Personnel and Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Juris Doctorate from Duquesne University School of Law.

 

Previous pastorates were served at the Pleasant Unity and Bradenville United Methodist Churches. He is also currently on the Adjunct Faculty at Saint Vincent College, teaching Constitutional Law and Civil Rights and Liberties, and is an active member of the Latrobe Ministerial Association, the Latrobe Area Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers Board of Directors, the Union Mission Board of Directors and Triangle Meals on Wheels. He has been a participant of the Pittsburgh Seminary's Pittsburgh Seminar of the Foundation for Reformed Theology for several years.

 

A graduate of Latrobe High School, Reverend Kerr and his wife, the former Jane Fowler, a native of Latrobe, have one son, Trevor, and reside in Wimmerton.

 


 

Michael Long

Mrs. Temple is a 1991 graduate of the Union Presbyterian Theological Seminary (formerly Presbyterian School of Christian Education) with a Master of Christian Education degree.  She is her class' co-president. 

She is a certified Christian Educator and serves as the POINT person for the East Region of the PC (USA).  She serves on several committees of Presbytery and the Association of Presbyterian Church Educators (APCE). She is also a BRIDGE for the Montreat Conference Center in Black Mountain, North Carolina.

Prior to coming to Latrobe, she served churches in Clearwater, Florida; Niles, Michigan and Wilmington, Delaware.

Kris and her husband, Paul, live in Greensburg and enjoy being closer to their 3 children and grandchildren.

 


 

 

Michael Long

Michael began his stay at LPC in the Fall of 1995. Before arriving at LPC he spent 5 years with First Presbyterian in Greensburg and Baldwin United Methodist. Michael received his musical training at Seton Hill and Indiana University of Pennsylvania where he received a Masters degree.
